Fortinet Discovers Adobe Illustrator Out-of-Bounds Read Vulnerability

Summary

Fortinet's FortiGuard Labs has discovered an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in Adobe Illustrator.


Adobe Illustrator is a vector graphics editor developed and published by Adobe Systems for macOS and Windows.


An out-of-bounds read vulnerability has been discovered in Illustrator by FortiGuard Labs. The vulnerability is caused by a flaw in parsing a crafted "CDR" file which causes an out-of-bounds memory access. It could lead to memory leak scenarios.
